Generative AI Performance is a new report in Google Search Console that measures how often your website content appears in Google Search AI features — including AI Overview, AI Mode, and other generative AI experiences. The report shows AI Impressions broken down by page, country, device, and date.

This is the first time Google provides real data on AI search visibility. Previously, there was no way to measure whether content was being cited by AI. With this report, webmasters can see exactly which pages receive AI impressions and optimize with clear targets.
